What's New About This Model?
The 2016 Kia Sorento features a sleeker and more sophisticated look inspired by the Kia Cross GT concept that debuted at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. The redesigned Sorento is longer, lower and wider than the current model, with an extended wheelbase. The cabin is roomier and there are new convenience and safety technologies.
When Does It Go on Sale?
Kia Motors America spokesman Scott McKee told Edmunds that U.S. launch timing is not available at this point.
How Much Does It Cost?
U.S. pricing has not been announced. We expect the third-generation Sorento, which is available in five- or seven-seat versions, will be priced similar to the 2015 model, which starts at $25,195, including an $895 destination charge.
