NEARLY an SUV-Minivan Hybrid
5 out of 5 stars

2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid EX 4dr Minivan (1.6L 4cyl Turbo gas/electric hybrid 6A)
I've been searching and researching for months. Test driven the Pacifica plug-in, Sienna hybrid & the ole Odyssey--all 2025 models. But the Carnival was an absolute lock after weeks of test drives -It just looks better. If they raise the sliding door track up like on the Odyssey, this will be the best SUV/minivan hybrid look. -Fuel efficiency right between Sienna & Pacifica P/HEVs -Base … features included are much much better than ALL other makers -Interior looks better and has well-placed air vents unlike the side door vents in back of the Odyssey -SO spacious. I don't know if it is definitively, but it feels like the most spacious make. -Excellent seating manipulation--stow away 3rd & removable, front/back sliding 2nd row. -Cab Noise was 2nd quietest only to Honda Odyssey--just my opinion. -Somehow it's the same price if not CHEAPER than every other option! Cons: -Seats are not nearly as comfortable as they could be. Odyssey was best to me here, but Sienna was very close. -We don't know it's durability, reliability or how it'll compare to Toyota & Honda long term. Safe bet it's not horrible like the Pacifica. -Giddy up is not as strong as the V6's, but it's honestly way better than I expected. -No kick sensor for sliding doors, but the Kia app does have hands free for the trunk. -Can't laterally slide the 2nd row chairs together after taking out the middle seat. That's a very useful feature in the Odyssey.
