The Rubicon is everything I thought it would be, and more. It handles very well around town and thinks nothing of off-roading. Haven't had a chance to try the lockers out yet, but hopefully soon. Jeep has outdone themselves with the exterior styling of the Rubicon - between the Moab rims, diamond plate rocker guards and MTRs. The interior is simple, but attractive. I find the operation of the soft top to be quick and simple, despite what others say. My last vehicle was a '96 Cherokee Sport. The Rubicon, even with the soft top, is not much louder on the highway than the Cherokee was. The Rubicon is truly the essence of Jeep.

I've had my silver/black Rubicon now for just two weeks, but so far the experience has been great. When comparing this to a '95 Wrangler Sport 4.0L that I owned, I've noticed night and day differences in some areas. The soundproofing from road noise is much better! Interior comfort level is vastly better. The Sound System is HUGELY better (7 speaker system in the new one). The biggest difference, in a negative light, is that my new Rubicon is a Dog... I've got the 4.0L Inline 6, with the 5 speed manual tranny, and it's not quick by any means (my '95 was better). Not to mention the terrible gas mileage. On a positive note, Dual Tops are Great!

This truck is the only one of it's kind. You cannot imagine how it is good in off-road situation,ITS AMAZING , I have beat Hummers for real... I've tried it to a jeep jamboree...you cannot believe what the Rubi can do if you have never see it.The tires are great.I had put the Mopar light bar on it and the night doesn't exist anymore! Very Very great in winter,I tried it in winter because I'm from Montreal. Great for hardcore camping and expedition. The only machine that can bring you anywhere, that is convertible and that it as cool as a Mustang Cabra.
