Because this was my 1st Jeep
(congradualations) (thank you very much)
I did a considerable amount of research
before making the purchase
And from all ive heard I expected to
get in this thing and feel like I was
laying on a bed of nails during
A lot of people are really
overdramatizing the supposable lack of
comfort in a Jeep. I realize that its
all in the eye (or back) of the beholder
but these people must have back trouble
or somthing. Sure it's no Buick Regal or
Pontiac Bonneville but I don't see no
call to exagerate. Sure it may not be
as comfortable as a luxury sedan but
it's certainly not uncomfotable. Jeep
does a fine job.
this is an awesome car. Although, it
is a bit loud with the soft top on at
high speeds and the handling is pretty
bad at high speeds as well. This car
is very fun to drive on and off the
road. Great for anyone.
Removable Top that isnt hard to
handle. Very easy to off road with.
Tons of aftermarket product.
2004 Jeep Wrangler X 4WD 2dr Convertible SUV (4.0L 6cyl 4A)
This is my third jeep(cj then yj then
tj) and they keep getting better. The
ride is much improved and it is much
quieter. Some people who complain
about that are in the wrong vehicle-it
is a rugged off-road vehicle after
all. Of course the mileage is not
great- no real 4-wheel drive vehicle
gets high mileage. There is nothing
like the wrangler on the road today.
If you want a unique and fun vehicle,
this is it.
Rag top for open air fun.
Although the top is much improved,
ther is probably some way to make it
more convenient to use.
I use my Rubicon as both a daily driver
AND a weekend off-roader. These guys
have done their homework...this is
destined to go down as one of the great
Jeeps. The vehicle feels very solid,
and is prepared to tackle any obstacle.
It is a lot quieter than I expected,
and the ride is smooth on the highway
(for a Jeep). It is rugged and fun, and
one of the few vehicles left that can be
easily worked on...though I have yet to
have any problems at 3000 miles. I have
NEVER enjoyed a vehicle this much. If
you want soft fuzzy comfort, go buy a
Mercedes. This is not for the
latte-drinking suburban soccer moms.
All meat, no fluff.
-The entire off-road package...very well
-Powerful heating and air conditioning.
-Second and third gear ratios could be
-Third seat belt in back seat should be
-Flip latch on driver's seat as well as
-Free access to all fire roads
nationwide (hey, it's worth a shot)
