Vehicle2012 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 R-Spec 4dr Sedan (5.0L 8cyl 8A)
ReviewWhat is all this raving reviews about the car being so quiet! Both the regular v-8 and the R-Spec have unacceptable road/tire/wind noise, especially on the driver side. Changing tires from Michellin to Continental did not help. It is a constant hum/rumbling which should not be there, if Hyundai wants to compete in the "luxury" car market.
Worst FeaturesGot to eliminate the Snow-Tire like noise.

Yes. My 3.8 has Michelins but Michelin M4s are the quietest and longest lasting tires available. Even Mercs are noisy with Continentals.Report it

I have a 2010 genesis v8 sedan with the tech pkg and yes the ride quality is awful with this car. 1st its a noise maker from lots of wind noise to tire noise. I made such a big issue to hyundai how they advertised this car to be just as refined riding like a lexus and mercedes and that its not they replaced the tired with michelins swapping out the dunlops that it came with but there is still to much road noise in my 40 k car that i cant wait to the lease is up. The suspension is also horrible. To ruff and jittery. I wonder if they addressed these faults in the 2012 4.6 v8 modelsReport it
