Used 2007 Hyundai Entourage Minivan Consumer Reviews
Love This Car!!
I was looking at the Odyssey and the Toyota Sienna, but stopped by to see the Dodge Caravan for the heck of it and there was this beautiful Minivan in the Showroom that had just come out. I loved the look and we took it for a ride. It is sooo much fun to drive!! I came back three times after driving a Honda Pilot and everything that had a third row seat. We got the cloth seats because they were heated, but I now regret not getting leather because it's easier to clean. Gas mileage is awful, but I don't care, but someone who has to watch their pennies would have a problem with this. Also, I would like to see more interior storage.
an excellent choice
our experience so far has been excellent. we were looking at minivans such as the honda oddessy and the toyota sienna, the entourage offered more standard features for much less. the v6 is very powerful, it gives the van a very sporty feel. the suspension allows the van to ride like a four door sedan. the warranty really caught out attention, it is one of a few vehicles that we could payoff before the warranty runs out. features such as power rear doors, rear windows that go down, captains chairs in the middle row, electronic climate control, and the 60/40 third seat are very conveinient. the standard feature of electronic stability control gives you that extra feeling of safety.

Couldn't have done better...
Test drove the Honda,Toyota,Hyundai, and was not interested in the Chrysler. Ruled out the Sienna immediately. I was leaning towards the Honda before test driving the Hyundai. I was amazed at the build quality and the ride quality compared to the Honda. I have owned the Entourage for two months. Have already driven from Georgia to Chicago. What a treat driving the Entourage. Don't be fooled by Hyundai's past. They are in it to compete as a top of the line competitor. The Entourage is an excellent buy!
17 Years Layer - Still Going Strong!
“Vannie” is till going strong after all these years. She is our workhorse, a comfortable tough van with almost 160,000 miles on her. She works hard for us and keeps us safe and we take care of her. A lot of life has taken place in 17 years and she has been right there with us! Always ready for the next trip and adventure.
Hyundai right up there with Oddessey!!
I am a previous Honda Oddessey owner for 4 years and really liked my van, however when it came time to trade in I just had to look at the new Hyundai Entourage, after driving it I was really amazed the fit & finish was excellent on power to the honda the refinement of the 3.8-250HP motor with 5 speed tran was smooth and powerful more so than my oddessey, the oddessey still get #1 for handeling but lets get releastic this is a mini-van Not a sports car, ride is far seperior to my oddessey for reliability I think that Hyundai's 10/100,000 WILL KEEP ME AT EASE. I have put 7000 miles on this Entourage and I truly love it, if you are thinking about a mini-van giv Hyundai Entourage a Close look!
Hyundai Entourage
We love this van! My husband walks only with a walker and can get into and out of this vehicle better than he could from our Buick Park Avenue. It has a lot of room, perfecy for starting our small business. This van drives so smoothly!
You're just wasting $$ with Honda,Toyota
Like most looking at this car, I needed a family hauler. Looked at SUV's (actually fell in love with the Mazda CX-9 and the Hyundai Veracruz. Sad thing about both are you carry the family or 'stuff' - but not both. Now I was stuck looking at minivans. Compared the Toy, Honda and the Hyundai and there was only 1 choice. Maybe people feel better spending $40k+ on the same thing from Honda but not me. I like the better warrentee. Build quality is the SAME believe it or not. All the new Hyundai's in the last couple of years have had amazing reliability, rivaling anything from Japan. Spend more if you want to - but all you'll gain is a few more MPG!
A Great Vacation Ride
I rented a 2007 Entourage in Salt Lake City for an 8 day, 1800 mile vacation through Grand Teton and Yellowstone Parks. The drive was on mountainous roads in winter conditions. This vehicle has a strong drivetrain with fast acceleration and effortless mountain climbing power. Handling was sporty and the ride very comfortable. Gas mileage was outstanding and amazing averaging about 27 mpg. This included a considerable amount of stop and go driving between scenic turnouts in both parks, and some idling to keep warm while viewing wildlife, not to mention the cold weather conditions and, at times, snow covered roads. Overall, I am very impressed with this vehicle.
Beware of mileage
Purchased Entourage GLS after having had two Voyagers. The Hyundai is superior. Standard ESC, all the airbags, ABS, warranty are great. Have a 1999 Sonata that lead me to look at the Entourage. The major problem is the HORRIBLE mileage. Currently have 5000 miles after 7 months and cannot get over 12mpg in city/suburban driving. City/hwy is only 15mpg. This is the worst mileage I have ever gotten with any car that I have owned.
Wish I didn't buy it!
We paid for the extended warranty and glad that we did! Brakes started squealing within the first six months, tires did not last as long as they should have, battery died after about 50000 miles. They have had to change the air compressor, the fuel sensor, and a few other parts. We have had to get it towed twice.
