Used 2007 Hyundai Entourage Minivan Consumer Reviews
Monster Minivan
I was trading in my 2000 Chevy Venture and didn't want another minivan. After driving several other types of vehicles, I saw the Entourage and asked to drive it. After leaving the parking lot, I was like "Wow" this is smooth, very nice seating, quiet acceleration, and the interior is nice. I bought it at the advertised price, which is rare.
Great Minivan -- Great Buy!
Overall, I think the reviews are spot on. I've put about 500 miles on our new Hyundai Entourage SE. With the power sliding doors and other standard features. I don't think it's most beautiful vehicle I've ever seen, but for a mini van, it gets the job done -- nicely! I got a great price for the van and coupled with my $2500 rebate, I got the car for $3000 under invoice not including tax and license.

Disappointed
After much research and test drives we chose the Entourage because of its comfort, long list of features but most of all, the safety rating for our 3 children. After only a short time we began having problems with front end knocking and vibrating. The brakes wobble, the rear end squeaks and the check enging light frequently comes on as does the air bag light. I've lost count of the amount of times the van has been in the shop but the condition of the van is the same and getting worse. It's obvious now why there is 100k warranty. You definitely need it with this very undependable vehicle. The dealership is useless and the service department is awful.
Can't beat the warranty
The transmission self destructed on our 1998 Sienna XLE. We weren't planning on a new vehicle purchase so another Sienna XLE was just plain out of our price range. We found an 2007 SE with nearly all of the bells and whistles of the Limited. It landed right in our price range. We will miss our Sienna (it is going to be donated), but the Entourage is bigger, faster, quieter, and has tons more safety and convenience features, while getting the same or better fuel economy. Lastly, it is nice to have a warranty that outlasts the payments. We even upgraded the bumper to bumper to cover the bells and whistles. At the price we got it for ($7000 below MSRP), we could afford to.
Never will I buy American again!
We've had our Entourage for 30 days now & absolutely love it! We took it on a 1,000 mile trip a week after we purchased it & we had a wonderful trip! There were 4 adults & 2 children & we had loads of room & the ride was as smooth as it could be. This was our first minivan & we weren't sure if we would like it or not. We've always had Fords in the past but had several bad experiences with our Explorers. I would definitely recommend this van to anyone that may be on the fence especially if you can't decide between the Hyundai, Toyota, & Honda. This van is a much better buy than the other two & cheaper too! The Toyota van would have been about $10,000 more w/the same options!
hyundai entourage se
so far I have the entourage about seven weeks and have not had any problems with it. I have 1100 miles on it. I would like to get better gas mileage so far I have not taken it on a long trip to tell what kind of mileage I will get. I'm am very pleased so far, It had a 2500 rebate on it when I purchased it, great car for the money.
One Fine Vehicle
We bought the Limited (Ultimate Pkg) and it is worth every penny. Last Veh was Chrysler T&C. Had a few problems. Gas millage has been according to the speed you drive. @65 mph, I get 25-26 mph on the Hwy. My grandchildren are loving the DVD player and Surround Sound. Love the middle electric window. So many considerate touches. A dream to drive. Super comfortable. After test driving all the other vans, I fell in love with the Entourage. Even the name is sexy! I have over 30,000 miles and the engine is perring so quite.
Look out "Big Boys"
Just purchased a Hyundai Entourage last month. Canadian model was the GLS which is the USA - SE equivalent. I am very pleased with the performance and style of this vehicle. I have owed various vans since 1975 and rate this one at the top of my list. The safety features...i.e - ASC, multiple air bags, traction control and back up warning sensors are must options. I have been getting decent mileage (25 mpg ) on the hwys which I feel is good considering the power and size of this van. Hyundai has come a long way with the quality of there vehicles since inception and now can compete favourably with the "Big Boys" (Honda, Toyota, Nissan and Chrysler )
awsome
Wow. I use to own a Chrysler T&C and needed traded in for this one. Wow. With a bigger engine premium audio system, DVD, heated seats. I now have more toys. At such a great price. My only regret is not going for the limited with even more toys. Keep up the good work Hyundai.
Incredible driving experience
Smooth ride, power to spare, comfortable to drive and ride, and great features. All that for a couple thousand less than the market leaders. Buy one this year or the next - I expect Hyundai will get popular and raise their prices accordingly. Gets reasonable gas mileage if you lay off the gas pedal. Only tip - check the tire pressure after you get your vehicle, one of mine was low. RG
