2010 Hyundai Elantra Sedan GLS 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl 4A)

Review

I've had my Hyundai Elantra GLS for about a month. It's quiet on the highway, gets as good as the mpg rating, has some neat features (Ipod plug/XM radio)) with easy to view/access interior controls and overall is fun to drive. I moved from a 2001 PT Cruiser to the Elantra and though I miss the great storage of the PT, I don't miss the lower gas mileage or the harsher ride. Overall I love the handling, the smooth ride though the exterior styling is a bit bland, I still give this model an outstanding rating. Additionally, the Hyundai has an outstanding bumper to bumper warranty.

Best Features

The ride, the high mpg, generous interior features and an outstanding deal with two Hyundai discounts and low % rate.

Worst Features

Would like a larger opening btwn back seat and trunk & tinted rear passenger windows as standard.

2010 Hyundai Elantra Sedan GLS 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl 4A)

Review

Comfort, yet cheap interior. The cabin of the car is quiet compare to its competitors. The ride is comfortable with acceptable handling quality. You may want to get SE edition to increase handling property to make the ride more fun. Problem: after less than 2 months of ownership. 1) Squeaky noise occur when turning my steering wheel. 2) Knocking sound + minor vibration from rear wheel(s) when going more than 20 MPH.

2010 Hyundai Elantra Sedan SE 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl 4A)

Review

I test drove Civic, Corolla, Soul, Mazda3, Focus, Cobalt, Aveo and others. I found the Elantra the best overall, huge points for comfort, roominess, and quietness. SE version had the handling and road feel the GLS lacks. I average so far 29.4 MPG mostly city driving. Not bad at all. Decent stereo, tilt/telescope wheel with controls, nice brakes and decent power for a 2.0L engine, a turbo would make this a little screamer. Decent looking, I got the Black Noir Pearl, decent wheels, very nice fit and finish, no rattles or strange noises. Large Trunk. Maybe lacking a few bells and whistles from other cars, but a great all-around vehicle that does what it's suppose to.

Best Features

XM Radio, tilt/telescope wheel w/controls, comfortable seats and quiet cabin. Simple controls are all easy to use and learn. Trunk surprisingly large. Plenty of storage spaces, iPod connection and USB port. Very clean and uncluttered engine compartment. Great (for me) gas mileage 29.4mpg. Warranty!!

Worst Features

There was no SE in stock with Navigation or Sunroof, I might of opted for them. Leather might be nice. Power driver seats with lumbar. Trip computer with real time MPG rating. Light sensors for headlights. Better gauge package. Maybe a powered subwoofer. Chrome exhaust tip. Rear wiper, wider tires.

Review

The brakes are too abrupt at low speeds,a slight touch at 2 mph and it and jerks the passengers as they are to touchy.OK at driving speeds. Also, when I push the driver door open there is a tendency to inadvertently lock the door and is discovered only when I attempt to reenter the auto. Aside from the above the car is great.

Enjoy the looks

Review

This car is perfect right off the lot purchased for $14.200.00 its a lot of car for the money I'm 6,3" and have plenty of room in it at idle you don't even know its running shifting is very smooth power is no problem at all. Build quality, panel gaps how the doors close are all superb I just love driving it, and talk about safety it's full of safety features .

Best Features

Love the seats very comfortable gas mileage is excellent just a fun responsive car to drive

Worst Features

Wish car mfgs, would install remote start right from the factory and also do away with keys and make push button start standard on every Hyundai
