No spare tire - get used to it

2012 Hyundai Accent GLS 4dr Sedan (1.6L 4cyl 6A)

No spare tire in new cars is the current trend.
In 2012 about 25% of all new cars sold did NOT have spare tires.
It is a way for manufacturers to save mo0ney AND weight, to increase MPG and improve CAFE.

Best Features

Manumatic, Bluetooth, radio, steering wheel controls, ride, roominess

Worst Features

I too would like the spare to come back. We have a 2012 Elantra also and the first thing I did was purchase a spare, jack and lug wrench.
