Used 2019 Honda Pilot Touring 4dr SUV w/Rear Captain's Chairs (3.5L 6cyl 9A) Consumer Reviews
Collision avoidance system and Auto off terrible
Collision avoidance system provides false or redundant warnings 100 percent of the time. Your're driving down the road and the steering wheel starts shaking and warning lights come on because the car detects something in the opposite lane. The Auto off feature is annoying too. The car would be fine if I could select to turn off both of these features as a default setting. But there is no way to do so - so every time I start the car I have to go through a series of steps to turn these features off. 10 MONTH UPDATE -- Car is nice except for collision avoidance System and Auto OFF. These things really need to be driver selectable. They both drive me bananas and I will be asking Honda to fix them. 18 Month Update -- Same issues -- Honda not responding to requests to address them. Very disappointing.

Chirping Noise
We purchased the 2019 Pilot in May and after a few days noticed a “chirping” noise coming from the underside of the car. We took the car to the dealership and they could not find anything wrong but did hear the noise. As they could not determine the source of the noise, they submitted our problem to the engineers at Honda and said they have had other similar complaints. We were told to the “record” the sound and send it in, which we did. After 4 months the noise is still happening and we have now been told it may be another few months to figure this out and that we would no longer receive any communication about our complaint. We love the car, but the noise is extremely annoying - not something we expected with a brand new car. We have googled this subject and others have indicated the noise is coming from the timing belt, but Honda is not supporting this as a fix. Love everything about the car, but HATE the noise!

Know your dealer
The car is priced with a little wiggle room, if you don’t go to an unscrupulous dealer like Jenkins Honda of Leesburg. I got a quote from them through Edmonds. Wasted time, energy and money after verbal confirmation of quoted price and availability of purchase the next day . Drove 45 miles to pick up car and after 3hrs of stories, they didn’t have it. Went to Coggins Honda of DeLand and purchased the car with no problems. They are professional, well informed on their product and are good people. The y we’re also referred to me by Edmunds.

2019 Pilot fixed what others disliked in 2018
Be sure to test drive as the push button controlled transmission takes some getting used to.

From soccer mom to sexy mom
Upgraded from a minivan as our kids were getting a little older and not as much space was needed. Was actually looking to test drive an odyssey then saw this vehicle right next to it and fell in love. Honestly it just looks a feels sooo much nicer than the odyssey and I think it’s interior is better with way better amenities than other models.
