2005 Honda Pilot EX 4WD 4dr SUV w/Leather, Rear Entertainment (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Car has fantastic pickup to the point I find myself frequently over the speed limit, yet handles more smoothly than most cars I've driven.

2005 Honda Pilot EX 4WD 4dr SUV w/Leather (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

The Pilot has it all...plenty of room, solid handling and great reliability. It handles just as easily as a car so those who don't like the typical truck handling of an SUV have nothing to worry about. It has met all of my expectations.

2005 Honda Pilot EX 4WD 4dr SUV w/Leather, Rear Entertainment (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

I traded a 2002 BMW X5 for a 2005 Pilot EX with leather and DVD. The Pilot is everything the X5 was and then some. Great handling, performance, and ride. Way more comfortable than the Bimmer! Honda's technology is absolutely cutting edge without the price tag of the traditional high performance cars. Buy it today!

Best Features

Comfort, sound, DVD, fuel economy

Worst Features

Automatic headlights and windshield wipers would be nice.

2005 Honda Pilot LX 4WD 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Had a 2002 Envoy prior to the Pilot. No comparison. The Honda is quieter, smoother riding, more spacious and comfortable interior. 10K trouble free miles so far far and has not been back to the dealer for anything.

Best Features

Roomy interior, quiet ride, car like handling and reliability

Worst Features

Towing package should be standard on higher end models.

2005 Honda Pilot EX 4WD 4dr SUV w/Leather, Rear Entertainment (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

We bought our Pilot EX w/leather, DVD in June '05 and immediately took it on a 5000 mile trip back East. Having the DVD kept 4 kids completely quiet. The Pilot's shifting is unnoticeable. I saw the RPM's drop, but the vehicle did not 'jump' when shifting. The passing power is perfect even in the mountains of Utah. The 2nd and 3rd rows recline slightly so passengers aren't sitting straight up the entire trip. The 2nd row is able of adjust forward approximately 6" much like front seats allowing even more legroom for the 3rd row. I sit in the 3rd row and am quite comfortable being 5'8". I researched SUV's for 6 months and this beat the Highlander hands down. I'm so happy with the Pilot

Best Features

DVD, leather, heated seats, recling 2nd and 3rd rows, automatic climate control, undetectable shifting

Worst Features

Fuel economy, but not horrible for size, powered passenger seat, rear mud guards standard. The Pilot is by far the best vehicle we've owned over 20 years.
