Used 2004 Honda Pilot Consumer Reviews
Almost perfect
I just love this SUV! Drive is smoooth and quiet, lots of power, lots of room. View is great, there is a lot of windshield. Gas mileage isn't wonderful, but I knew it wouldn't be when I bought an SUV, so can't complain. Drove in a freezing rain/snow mix recently, very well behaved, good traction and braking.
Snow
It Just Snowed 18 Inches here in the North East And I did not Have my drive way cleared. No Need to. The Pilot handeled the snow with ease. Even my wife hade an easy time driving it in the snow. She back down into the yard, by mistake but no problems, she drove right out. I was amazed. I have been snow plowing for 3 years and that thing handeled the snow better than any truck I drove.

Honda Pilot Initial Impression
A quick initial review based on limited mileage: Overall todate 3350 miles, of which 2721 was a trip that netted 21.571 MPG (including I-81/I-77 VA hills). Steering is somewhat sensitive - actually twitchy if one is used to a less responsive vehicle; road noise on coarse surface roads is high (may be function of tread). Spouse finds it very comfortable.
Love it!
Just took delivery of my new 2004 Pilot EX-L w/ DVD to replace a 2003 Explorer. This vehicle is great, plus I got it for a great price (less than TMV - $400 over invoice). Very pleased so far even though I've only put about 50 miles on it.
Scott's thoughts
After 3 Nissan Pathfinders, I decided to make the switch, mainly due to my wife's Accord and its reliability. The Pilot is unequaled to any SUV I have traveled in or driven. Incredible ride, steering radius of a much small er vehicle, and simply a pleasure to drive......Great pickup too.
