The ONLY thing I would change about my
Pilot is the second and third row seats.
If the second row was adjustable then
the third row would be more usable. Fr
large adults, the second row center can
become uncomfortable after riding a
while because it is not as padded as
the rest of the second row seating
I have been impressed by the quality
of the interior. Nothing was fixed
except a fuse and one dome light which
did not work correctly. I would buy it
I hope if they fix the second seat to
be adjustable that they offer the "fix'
to present car owners.
Drives like a car not a truck or SUV.
Handles good in traffic.
Like all the outlets for electronics
Second row seat center needs more
Second row seat needs to adjust one or
two positions more for third row room.
Excellent vehicle. I understand a lot
of people like bold styling than
bland. But it's really not ugly, just
bland. You will notice its overall
solid feel. I like the fact that it's
based on MDX and Odyssey. Hopefully,
it should enjoy a great resale value as
Lots of room
3rd row seat that folds split flat
Brakes need adjustment according to
Better gas mileage
Better Audio system
Had my Pilot for about 2 months and
4000 miles. Good ride, lots of room
and good performance. Fuel economy has
been good, about 18-19 mpg during drive
to work and with bikes and cargo
carrier attached, about 20 on long
trips without extra stuff (not sure
what other people expect from a 4400 lb
SUV, better than I ever got with my
Jeep). Good power and acceleration.
Not flashy but good looking vehicle.
Got fog lights, running boards, towing
package, cross bars and rear mud flaps
added and paid about $1200 over MSRP
(about $2200 worth of extras).
Good on gas for size, lots of room,
typical good Honda vehicle.
3rd row OK for small kids only, maybe
sliding 2nd row seat. Better placement
for gear shift lever. Roll down rear
window so you can carry long items
without leaving hatch open. Maybe a V8
option with higher towing capacity.
2003 Honda Pilot EX AWD 4dr SUV w/ Leather (3.5L 6cyl 5A)
Great motor, good transmission, driving
enjoyment. Good handling, excellent
cargo space, seating capacity good, 4
wheel drive feature excellent for light
to moderate heaving going. Gas mileage
Solid feel, responsive motor, smooth
transmission, cargo capacity large, but
with the option of seating capacity for
Captains chairs in second row. Sharpen
exterior design in some manner. Rework
