2003 Honda Odyssey Minivan EX-L 4dr Minivan w/Entertainment (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Our 2003 Odyssey EX-L RES has thus far
been exactly what we expected in all
aspects. It spacious, quiet, handles
great, and is packed with the features
we desire. The Honda reputation for
quality, which we have come to expect,
shines through in this vehicle. Over
the years we have owned 5 Honda's,
including this minivan, and we
continue to be fans of Honda
vehicles. Plus: The kids love the DVD
system.

Best Features

DVD system, spacious trunk area, good crash test scores, powerful engine, smooth ride.

Worst Features

Include Roadside assistance in the standard warranty...It's a great vehicle, but not impervious to problems. For a family vehicle I want every avenue of safety and assurance of support when a problem occurs. A sunroof option and a better selection of exterior colors would be nice too.

2003 Honda Odyssey Minivan EX 4dr Minivan (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

After weeks of test driving mini-vans,
the choice was clear. The Honda Odyssey
was the best hands down. I can't truly
say that there was even a close second.
The Odyssey won us over with its sleek
styling and top rated performance. Byh
far, It was the most luxurious,
comfortable van in the field.

Best Features

Sliding duel side doors, fold down rear seat and easily adjustable front seats.

Worst Features

I have only two suggestions for improvement. I think the poweer steering could be a bit smoother and I wish the emergency brake was in a different position.

2003 Honda Odyssey Minivan EX-L 4dr Minivan w/Entertainment (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

We've loved our Odyssey for the past
year except the brakes failed at 15000
miles.Suddenly the pedal went to the
floor while driving. Apparently a
defect in the braking system and the
master cylinder.

Best Features

Power,comfort,cargo capacity

Worst Features

Correct defect in braking system

2003 Honda Odyssey Minivan EX 4dr Minivan (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

I owned a Plymouth Voyager and have
driven a Ford Windstar. Neither
compares to the quality and ride of the
Odyssey. It's solid and tight. The ride
is great! The features are top notch! I
never thought I would buy a "foreign"
car, but in comparison to the American
models, it's Honda the clear winner!
you won't be disappointed!

Best Features

The mini table between the front driver and passenger seat. The power mid doors.

Worst Features

The cargo cover could be improved. Honda should follow Subaru's cover design in having it pull out from the back and attaching to the back. Getting the cargo cover in and out is somewhat difficult.

2003 Honda Odyssey Minivan EX-L 4dr Minivan w/Navigation (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

This vehicle is a joy to drive. It
hugs the road when driving around
corners, off exit ramps, etc., turns
practically on a dime, handles very
well. The power is apparent as it
easily speeds up in the pass zone.
Ride is very smooth. I love the ease
in configuring the interior. The
center captain's chairs are simply
removed and the rear seat folds right
into the floor. The twin side doors
are powered to slide open with your
remote key fob and are a real help, the
entertainment system is phenomenal.
This is a very nice vehicle, very
functional, very fun to drive.

Worst Features

I would add "power" to the rear hatch/door in the back to facilitate the shopper in depositing groceries, etc. into the cargo area without having to manage with a free arm to open it.
