Used 1995 Honda Odyssey Consumer Reviews
Glad to have it!
We bought this Odyssey in 2002. It was our first minivan and I love it. I can not think of a reason why I'd wish for something different. Very easy to put our two girls into their carseats and haul a lot of "stuff" in the back. Even when we add a few friends in the flip up seat we still have room for a stroller and bags.
PERFECT Van for family of 4
Typical HONDA reliablity. Only one UN-scheduled problem - replaced brake master cylinder. I've owned two other minivans (Dodge and Mazda) and this has been the best all around. For my family of four, it is a perfect size with the middle captains chairs. We then have the flip up back seat for extra seating when we need it, otherwise it is a huge trunk. If you like the Accord but need just a little more room or occasionally carry 6-7 people, look no further.

A wonderful
The Odyssey is the most un-minivan of the lot, and it is really a Honda Civic wagon on steroids. The smaller size compared to the newer models makes the '95-98 models so cool. We love ours, the 2.2 liter engine would seem too small for a van, but in this case, it is perfect. The ride, mileage, functionality and visibilty of the car are outstanding. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a minivan. It even fits into compact spaces, and hold six!
Too bad they don't make them any more...
What a wonderful minivan! Comfortable, roomy inside/not too big outside, reliable, drives like a car, extremely versatile. It's a pity that Honda succumbed (very successfully at that) to US market pressure to build this model's successor. This model had the highest J.D. Powers customer satisfaction index ever, indicating it struck a sensitive chord among a number of buyers. I, for one, have loved it from day one, and intend to keep it for as long as it runs (judging from past experience with Honda, that will be many years to come).
My Second one
Just bought my second one. First was the Izuzu Oasis, which was the same van with Isuzu logos. (I still have the Isuzu too.) Based on the Honda Accord Chassis. Wonderful trip vehicle and enough power for us on the road. Standard 4 wheel disk brakes and dual air. Solid feeling on the road even at 80 mph. Can't think of anything negative about it. If you can find one, grab it as they are hard to find and underpriced. These things went for close to $25k new! (And worth it!)
