Fun to drive, gas mileage, great dash and all controls, comfy seats,decent stereo Road noise but not a deal breaker (put on quiet tires) Gas and oil changes is all it needs plus 4 winter tires for canada winters

I did like the look of it, wasn’t a big fan of the interior. Had the car for 1 year seats are cracking. I have had problem after problem with this car. I don’t know if it is a lemon, but at 30,000 miles my horn no longer works, car play, cruise control does not set. A brand new one off the lot will sell you it for sure because it a pretty car but trust and believe it really is not worth the money or the money you have to continue to put into it. I now have a check engine light on as well as a charging system problem. I don’t know if it has something to do with it being a hybrid and not having an alternator, all I know is I have been wanting to sell this car for about 3 months due to just the random rattling. I do like the break hold. They call it a moon roof, it’s just a sun roof. My favorite feature if it worked would have been lane assist and cruise control. It will detect cars and slow down break for you. Almost like a Tesla but it will not drive for you around big curves. If it is a little one, it will. I like the camera system as well. I think they could have spent a little bit more money for the interior like the seats. I go into the dealership, they can’t give me a loaner car. But offered me their rental program & 10% off. Honda is a complete joke, even with these problems they stated it could be an electrical problem and maybe a rodent ate your wires. Why would they even say that, it seems like they don’t want to honor the bumper to bumper warranty that the car comes with. I am beyond furious and extremely disappointed with Honda. I really was a Honda girl but after the way the Philadelphia location and New York location has treated me, anytime I had a problem. (Never once got a loaner, even though I purchased the car in cash and every extra warranty they offered.) Verdict: they said it is most likely a sensor, and that I am able to drive my car with the engine light on. They tried to send me out of the shop with out fixing anything. & tried to charge me for the tire saying they can not replace the tire because the car was bought in Philadelphia. They did wave the diagnostic fee for me. But the problem was still not solved. Got it appraised and I am selling this car before Something else blows next.

In late August of 2024 we bought a new 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid Sport Touring. Within a week it had a computer problem. Back to dealer: "fixed" same day. A month or so later, same computer problem. Back to dealer. June 2025 (about 10-11 months later) same problem. Back to dealer. They also discovered it needed a new transmission. No problem. They have one conveniently available from their warehouse located on the back side of the moon: should be here fast. Drove loaner for a week or so. Got call to return that loaner and would be given another loaner as transmission had to be back-ordered from the Regional supply depot, accessed thru the local black hole: should be here fast. Went to the dealer and said, "Make me an offer." They gave me a deal in cash (to arrive in a month of so) and they get to keep the lemon. So, after losing $5000+ in approximately 11 months I am rid of that anvil. To be fair, model is nice looking, gets decent mileage (low 50's), drove nice but not reliable. I have owned, in the past 15-20 years or so, two Subaru, three Toyota and three Honda: this Civic had more problems and more dealer-time than all these cars combined. I don't blame the dealer. All the staff were great. I don't actually blame Honda: I believe this is just the new-model gremlins. Same day we booted the Honda, went to local Toyota dealer and put money down on new Corolla hybrid: arrives today (one week). What an experience. dave

Collision Mitigation Braking nightmare

I have only had my '25 Civic Sport Hybrid car a few weeks, but I am frustrated and would love to get rid of it. I did a recent highway drive and for 3h it was on cruise control, 3x during that time the car interpreted a passing vehicle was in my lane and started the Collision Mitigation Braking protocol. So I am cursing at highway speeds and suddenly the car jams on its brakes - fortunately no one was behind and I wasn't rear ended, but how many more times will I get luck with this? I took it in to the dealer to have the sensors adjusted, and the mechanics told me to get used to this. Their cars do the same thing!!! Enjoy, it is unsafe and we don't care!!! I cannot wait to find out what other features on this brand new car they did not bother to work out before bringing the car to market. I could never recommend a Honda.

Good and Snappy Daily Driver

It is a fun to drive smaller vehicle with very good MPG. IMO the ONLY reason to buy the Sport Touring is the 9" display with wireless carplays. It has more road noise that I'd like at higher speeds.
