Still a great ride!

2012 Honda Civic EX 4dr Sedan w/Nav (1.8L 4cyl 5A)

My intitial impression of owning the car is great.

It's incrementally better than gen. 8 (2006-2011) The information display is very helpful and the ride is comfortable.
Continental 16" tires have been no problem in rain on the hwy and car handles in typical Honda fasion with a compliant and solid feeling.

The interior, which has been the subject of much debate could feel a little "warmer" but overall isnt offensive.
The navigation system in my vehicle helps to absorb some of the plainess on the dash associated with lower trim models.
I continue to stay with Honda for their reliablity, strong resale value and for how well im treated at my local Honda dealership for service.

Best Features

Sunroof. Navigation. The car heats up FAST in cold weather and AC is ICE cold when I need it to be. Relatively quiet compared to past Honda's. Ive added OEM dealer installed fog lights which make a nice difference when driving at night and also an OEM wing spoiler helping to make the back end not so generic looking. For what it is, the Civic is a great solid car with a lot going for it.

Worst Features

With a $22,755.00 sticker price, heated mirrors would have been a "nice" thing to have. Most features like this are standard on lower trim models for other auto brands. (Hyundai, GM, Ford) a more premium audio system, fog lights and an Auto dim mirror would also enhance the "value" proposition.
