Used 2004 Honda Civic Consumer Reviews
Great car
I bought it new and it's been very reliable, fuel efficient, fun to drive (5 spd) and looks great too. I expect to keep it for at least another 5-6 years. I have read other reviews saying that there is a troublesome blind spot, but I haven't noticed it. CIVIC HYBRID REVIEW
I LOVE IT, IT SAVES ME MONEY, HELPS THE ENVIRONMENT, AND IT IS AS RELIABLE AS A REGULAR CIVIC. ALSO IT ISN'T UGLY LIKE THE OTHER HYBRIDS OUT THERE!!!!
couple of flaws
I love the car and while it does get great fuel mileage, the gas tank is too small. I drive just over 80 miles a day and have to buy gas every thrre days. The tank filler tube is bent in such a way as to make it difficult the get the fuel nozzel all the way in. Filling must be done slowly. I would like to have a radio with a volume that increases as the speed of the car increases. The engine is a bit noisey.
Japanese gas sipper
Bought my 2004 EX 4dr/Auto for $16,999 with 2.9 APR. Nice new style. I do prefer the Coupe, but hate having to move my seat back and forth for ear passangers. After 3K miles, I had not one complaint yet. It handles well even though they took away the front Double wishbone. With the new front suspensions setup, the car does rides on the softer side.
Easy on the wallet
I bought my Honda Civic DX after driving the same Explorer for the last 13 years. I wanted a good car a fair price, dependability, good safety rating and somthing that would be comfortable for a family of 5 to buzz around town in. I was very impressed with the mileage...I went 450 miles, before I had to refuel. THe 2 drawbacks to the car have been road noise above 60 mph and a vibration type sound coming from the drivers door around the mirror area...can't figure it out. Overall it is a wonderful ride. I will take it in a have Honda check it out.
