Civilized car needing a few improvements

2003 Honda Civic LX 4dr Sedan (1.7L 4cyl 4A)

I never thought I would buy a Civic,
but I did, and it's not quite a bad
car. The performance is adequate for
its size, and the handling is pretty
taut. The interior has a nice look to
it, but there are a few substantial
rattles that are annoying. Overall
quality is decent, but the "tight"
feel of everything could be improved.
The car really "loosens up" shortly
after being purchased. Even with all
of this, the fuel economy is what
keeps me really happy about my
purchase. Good car for the money.

Best Features

Clean, simple design. Good brakes, smooth engine, excellent Honda reliability, fuel economy, fair price

Worst Features

Fair to middling driving excitement, A/C lacks power in strong heat, doors lack substance, some minor quirks, lack of driver/car connection, unfortunate stigma of being a boy racer car
