Bought new. Rear defogger stopped working just after the factory warranty expired. Oxygen sensor and front power windows failed last year. No engine/transmission problems so far. About 32 mpg mixed highway/city and 36mpg highway with air conditioner fully on.
Fuel economy, easy to get around, always starts, no major problems
I bought my car with 60XXX mi on her and in 2 1/2yrs I've put on 110,000mi and have not had a single problem with her. great milage and I added a K&N which seemed to make her a little more perky....great car!!
I was shocked when I realized that I've been driving my car more than four years! I think this is the longest I've ever driven a car, and I have no desire to part with it. I have had more maintenance troubles than other reviewers. I'm on my third set of tires, my second tail-pipe, and have had to have the odometer replaced. Other than that, it's just been routine maintenance. About the cup-holders; when I bought my car, I thought the cupholders were useless, too. I purchased an insert from the dealer for just a few dollars and it's made all the difference. I hope this is helpful.
Fun to drive, comfortable seats, moon- roof a plus.
I get a lot of road and engine noise inside. (Maybe I just need a louder radio.)
I've had Civic LX sedan for the past 6 years and have no complaints. The engine runs like champ, transmission still going strong. The Civic is a great commuter car , that gets great gas mileage, easy to park, etc. The Japanese know how to make cars.
