1997 Honda Civic EX 2dr Coupe

I've had this car since it was brand
new, and I still love it! I've never
had a major problem with it - totally
reliable, although Honda had to
replace the alternator, moonroof
motor, and one headlight at various
times early in life (ALL done under
warranty, and on routine visits, not
after any serious failures). Honda
service is wonderful, if pricey - if
having your car start every morning is
worth your money, Honda is the way to

Best Features

Easy to manuver - great ride, but still very sporty for the price. Can't beat the fuel economy, but if you ride it hard (read drive fast in the city), then it drops to ~30 mpg. Larger backseat than any 2DR I've ever been in - same as Civic sedan, just with 2DR only.

Worst Features

Armrest in center could be tougher - I've worried for 6 years that I'm gonna knock it loose if I push out of the car on it too hard - hasn't happened yet. Firestone tires that it came with were scary - I've had Michelin MX4 Rainforce for the last two sets - LOVE THEM.
