1992 Honda Civic DX 4dr Sedan

Bought this car at a city acution. Car
had body damage and needed substantial
Since it is only a DX, had the head
cleaned up and the intake side ported
-Straight piped the exhaust system (no
cats)..she dont tell the cops.
-Added a cold air intake
-Tuner style muffler
-Short shifter
For around $1500 done and complete I
got a very nice ride.
Put 20,000 before selling it. Only
experienced rust induced troubles
(brakes rusted, suspension bushings...)
Peppy little car
Mine did a 1/4 mile in 17.2 and 0-60
in about 9.9 seconds, not bad for 4
door with 102 hp.

Best Features

The fuel economy. Do you have any idea how good it is? Consider this: Drove to NY (from MI) 4 times 2 Passenger, approx 200 lb each + 200 lb luggage=600 lb Average speed=72 mph Average economy=41 mpg...*not a misprint* (Keep in mind no cruise and plus one wheels, on reg 87 unleaded)

Worst Features

Power is a little lacking. Steering not very linear. Road Noise a bit much. Defroster needs more juice. It serves the loyal commuter yet with a little time and money can be turned into a street beast. Do yourself a favor, buy yourself a Honda and enjoy carefree motoring for life.
