2008 Honda Accord EX V-6 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Overall experience has been very good. The cars ride and styling are very nice. I do have to agree with other reviews in several areas, excessive road noise and the VCM is very noticeable. If I could turn off the VCM I would and sacrifice the 1 mpg. Come on Honda...would installing a little insulation for the road noise hurt your bottom line that much.

Best Features

New front end styling and overall size increase.

Worst Features

Honda needs to come out with a fix for the VCM. It needs improvement. Provide more adjustment for the front seat head rest so it is not so intrusive. Restyle the rear end. It looks too much like a cheap old Saturn. Gas mileage should be better. I got better mileage with 2001 Bonneville 3.8 V6.

2008 Honda Accord LX-P 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 5A)

Review

This car looks ugly in person. It looks better on magazine. The headlights and trunk is ugly design. Had this car for 2 months and sold it. Took two hours trip to the mountain. This car has two problems. Has horrible road noise coming into the car and headlights is NOT bright enough. I don't recommend this car for the price. Nissan Altima is better car.

Best Features

Aux input for iPod & audio on Steering wheel.

Worst Features

Design and road noise and oil filter location. Why put under exhaust system? Look at Toyota Camry oil filter location. So easy to get into. why can't Honda engineer design better? Horrible design. They all should be fire.

2008 Honda Accord EX 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 5A)

Review

This is my first Honda Accord. I fell in love with the look the first time I saw it. Great design.

Best Features

This car is really sharp looking. I purchased the Taffeta White with beige interior. I love the over all look and style. The car handles well for it's size. It seems to hug the road and is a fun car to drive. The gas mileage is great!

Worst Features

The head rest is uncomfortable. It would be nice to be able to tilt it back some. I personally do not like the lumbar support, it just fells like something is jabbing me in the back. The car has more road noise than my 1998 Toyota Camry, especially when breaking. Dash board seem cluttered.

2008 Honda Accord EX-L 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 5A)

Review

The car has met expectations, aside from the gas mileage and wind noise. It's my first Honda.

Best Features

Smooth ride, leather steering wheel, sound systems seems adequate.

Worst Features

I was hoping for more miles from this 4-cylinder. My '02 Cavalier did slightly better. The excessive wind noise on the highway was a major disappointment. especially near the door window. And the seat squeaks? These little annoyances I thought would have been avoided in a $25k car.

2008 Honda Accord EX-L 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 5A)

Review

The 2008 Honda Accord is my first foreign car as it was the only fuel- efficient and powerful 4 cylinder in a family-sized mid size sedan which made overall sense. It has attention grabbing styling from most angles and is yet still a fairly modest car! The front driver seat's lumbar support seemed very uncomfortable at first. The dashboard angles out to much at the perimeter and "invites" you to bump your leg or knee when entering or exiting in a trade off between style and practicality. Perhaps even more annoying is the side windows curve inward too much in accommodating a narrower roof line resulting rain pouring into the vehicle unless are windows virtually shut.

Best Features

Powerful 4 cylinder which gets excellent mileage for a spacious family economy car with decent curb weight for safety

Worst Features

Improve audio system speakers, use more sound insulation including lining trunk. Make roof line wider so rain does not pour into passenger department. Redesign dashboard so legs and knees don't get whacked upon entry and exit. Make front seats more comfortable and soften ride harshness.
