Used 2006 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
Great Car
Good car for the money. You get a great name for less bucks! Great gas mileage in the age of HIGH gas prices.
Darn good value overall!!
The engine is great. Interior and exterior styling is awesome! The perforated leather is soft and of good quality. Seats are extremely comfortable. The car rides very nice and smooth. The 17" wheels and lower profile tires on this years V6 6M look sweet. Smooth shifting is difficult sometimes as another person mentioned. In traffic the clutch can be quite demanding as it's especially springy; much more than your typical clutch. The brakes are not quite up to par with the performance. Handling could stand to improve a bit as it's a little cushy feeling on fast turns. Overall you'd be hard pressed to find a better value in this range. With a few tweaks, this car would be unbeatable!

Absolutely Amazing
This car simply has the best of both worlds while considering gas mileage. You slam it to the floor and you take off... its obviously not supercar but it is plenty of power for pulling out into traffic etc. Turning and cornering is impressive for a car of its size and designation. Great appearance!
Honda keeps up the good work
My new wife informed me that my 2003 Honda Civic Coupe EX wasn't exactly a good family car and that we needed to look for a sedan. I did a lot of research and ended up wanting to stick with Honda. I was impressed with the 2006 Civic Sedan but my wife talked me into trying out the Accord. We weren't even a mile out from the dealership during our test drive of the 2006 Accord LX Special Edition when we decided that it was the car for us. I loved my Civic but comparing the Civic to the Accord is like apples to oranges. The entire car is just a step up. The comfort and ride of the Accord is phenominal. The build quality is great. The 4 cylinder engine performs beautifully. We love it.
Outstanding Value
Test drove them all and the decision was easy... the Accord is hands down the best value for your dollar. 4 cyl engine is smooth and surprisingly quick. If you like to drive, go for the manual tranny. The interior is fantastic! Leather comparable to pricey luxury models. Great fit and finish. Seats are very comfortable, all instruments and controls very nicely laid out. All this and great reliability and gas mileage to boot. Honda continues to be the pace setter when it comes to how much you get for your money.
