Used 2004 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
the rattler
Great car. Super performance. Various car magazines clock it very very close (in acceleration, 0-60 and 1/4) to a 350z. Fantastic interior, very comfortable and well laid out. Great except that several trips to the dealer have failed to stop a horrendous (loud) rattle coming from the dashboard. Unacceptable for a 29000 car, or a 15000 car. Ruins the whole experience. Seems like junk when a loud rattle destroys an otherwise great ride.
bad breks
when i start the car my brakes usually grind ,and i have lost the pedal 2 different times. they replaced the master cylinder ,but did not fix the problem ,its been in the shop 3 times. they say nothing is wrong i guess i will bring it a fourth time and go the lemmon law never had any problem with my 2000 accord.

Fantastic Car!!!
I am just as enthusiatic about this car 2000 miles as the day I test drove one. A poor man's BMW. Better than any car I've owned in 40 years of driving; blows away Camry (incl V6 Coupe)and Avalon, better than 2 Mercedes I've had. Love it. Love it. Love it. Black with Tan Leather. Handling is superb (though I did change to IMHO much better Bridgestone Turanza from OE Michelin; run at 38 psi all around). Taut, smooth and fun!!!
Very reliable
Bought this car new in 04, have never had a problem, now has 125,000 miles and have only replaced battery and rotors. Great car!
This car is INSANE!
Bought the car from a freind of my brother at a Chicag dealership and just drove it back home to Boston. A 1,000-mile drive is a pretty good crash course in what a car is like. I considered them all, but this car is INSANE! The power of the 3.0L V6 is just beyond words. The design and attention to detail is a cut above whatever's #2 in this class. This car is an Acura in all but name. I got it in white with the tan interior. People ooh and ahh when they see it. She's a beauty.
