Used 2004 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
2004 Accord EX 4DR w/Leather
I bought my new Accord EX 4DR with (heated!) leather seats the Saturday after Thanksgiving (2003). I was out of town for the long weekend, visiting with family, and decided it was a good time to buy a new car. The 240 miles I've already put on the Accord have been fun. I was driving a '95 Civic before, and will probably drive this car for 8-10 years, so I wanted to go all out and get the best car I could for the money. Heated leather seats, dual climate control, side (curtain) airbags, AM/FM/XM radio (XM is free for 3 months, $10/month thereafter)in-dash 6 CD player, 16 inch alloy wheels... I could go on and on. It's a great car!
Honda comes through again!
After having had three Lexus ES300's I decided to take a look at the new Accord V6. It was so smooth and comfortable I could not justify the extra $10K for another Lexus, particularly since I don't like the new body style of the Lexus.

Reliable and maybe dull?
A good car, but hardly innovative. I wish I had opted for a little more luxury for some more dollars...BMW, Audi?
Most reliable car I have ever owned
I presently have 59,000 miles on this car and it has never broke down once. The only thing that it has had is a new set of brake pads which you could expect at 50 to 60 thousand miles. Honda only requires it's oil to be changed every 10,000 miles. It gets great gas mileage for a 4 banger, about 28 mpg on the average. I have never owned such a reliable car as this one. I hope to keep it for a long time to come. It has a comfortable ride, handles well, and takes care of my pocketbook. Glad I bought this car instead of another Mopar.
Great Car
While no car is perfect for all this one is great for many. Just got this recently from my dad's estate in Az. Drove it to Maryland and have used it for a few months and now ready to sell. First off I will miss it. This car combines very good acceleration with great fuel economy for the size. It sits and transports four full sized adults and all their stuff comfortably. It rides on the stiff side but in return provides great control. If you want cushy and floaty buy a Buick or Camry. If you like apexes and sweeping on ramps this is for you. I have achieved mpg 20's in town and low 30's on the open road. Not at all bad for the level of comfort, performance, and reliability.
