2003 Honda LX V6 - excellent car!

2003 Honda Accord LX V-6 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)

This car was the first Honda for me. The negative first - styling is not exactly earth shattering. Very ordinary, very yesterday. The positives - power is amazing, the ride is very good. Turning radius is also good and both road and engine noise is down almost to Camry levels. Interior space appears to be cramped. Controls are as good as the Camry, options and features are slightly better though. For example, LX V6 comes with Traction control, side air bags and 5 speed automatic. ABS and anti- theft are standard in all Accords. Overall very happy with the Accord purchase, would rate it as high as the very impressive Camry!

This car is really nice. We purchased the V-6 and love it. The car handles like the Toyota Avalon and other luxury automobiles. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a fun, reliable and luxury like car.

emotion vs. practicality

I looked at the A4, G35, Altima, Passat & Accord. Loved the A4 styling but it was too pricey. G35 drove like an absolute dream but was also too pricey. Interior of the Altima looked/felt cheap. That left the Passat & Accord. I preferred the Passat; more European look & feel. There was/is nothing wrong w/ the Accord; lots of ower & an amazing array of standard features. It came down to emotions vs. practicality. Although the Passat was more fun to drive, it was about $3500 more than the Accord. So, I went with the Accord. The exterior styling has grown on me. I'm also saving $125 per month. I like that a lot!!

Got this car to replace wife's 92 Taurus LX w/160k miles on it. She, being smaller, loves the interior. I find the console too close to my right leg when driving. mpressions are good with quite, smooth acceleration catches you offguard when you're doing 85 when you thought you were at 55. Tires thump a little on rough roads but the ride is very enjoyable. Handling is great but the tires start to squeal when the turns get tight. I rate the interior material, fit and finish to be excellent. The instrumentation layout is excellent but I think just three simple knobs could better replace the long lineup of buttons for the vent controls. Overall - a keeper!

Took delevery this week on 2003 EX-L Sedan. Dark Blue/Grey Leather. Very quiet, good acceleration, Great Stereo (six disc indash), Large sunroof, Fit and finish excellent. Look and drive one, and you will see why its a top seller in past years, and will be again.
