2003 Honda Accord Sedan EX V-6 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)

Review

The 2003 Accord is the third in a row
for us since 1987. It just keeps
getting better! We almost never have a
problem, including the 1991 that had
over 100,000 miles when we upgraded
late last year. And most amazing, we
are getting better highway mileage now
with a 240 HP V6 than we did with the
old Honda 4 cylinder with half the HP.
It is a very responsive, roomy and well
built car that is always there when you
need it. What more can you ask for?

Best Features

Besides the dynamite styling (we were going to settle for a Camry until the new Accord came out), the EX is very upscale with heated seats, etc. The best new feature is the audio controls on the steering wheel hub, so you rarely have to take your eyes off the road.

Worst Features

Almost the perfect car, but the trunk, while quite generous, could be a little larger to compete with the current Camry.

2003 Honda Accord Sedan LX 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 5A)

Review

Poor radio reception. Addition of
traditional external antenna would
improve reception. The passenger
seating is too low to the ground.

Best Features

Reliability and high resale value

Worst Features

Add traditional exterior antenna to improve poor radio reception.

2003 Honda Accord Sedan EX 4dr Sedan w/Leather (2.4L 4cyl 5M)

Review

I had my first accord for 13 years and
put 220000 miles on it. I really
wanted a different car this time.
Determined that there would be another
car out there that I would like as
well or better, I test drove all the
cars in that class ranging in price
from $18,000-$32,000. When I finally
tested an Accord, I knew I was getting
another one. There wasn't a car I
drove that had as much to offer for
the price. The style is much
different than my old Accord so I
really don't feel like I have the same
car again. This car has power,
comfort, style and is nice to look at
too. I highly recommend it.

Best Features

Leather seats, manual transmission, nice stereo, good handling

Worst Features

larger trunk, split fold-down rear seats

2003 Honda Accord Sedan EX V-6 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)

Review

I come from a long line of Acura/Honda
owners and this vehicle is the best I
have seen. The wonderfully re-designed
body lends interest while the luxurious
interior draws you in. The powerful
engine makes driving a pleasure -- I
cannot recommend this car enough!

Best Features

Heated leather seats and audio system controls on steering wheel.

Worst Features

Recess door locks so they do not impede passenger's arms and elbows from resting in the window. Doors should automatically unlock once the passenger engages the inside handle.
