I bought this car because of its'
reputation. I was let down. 75k miles
when I got it and the ABS pump was
shot. $1300 to replace, no thanks. The
counter balance shaft belt broke and
now it shakes like crazy at idle. Trans
vibrates bad between 35 and 50 mph like
it's trying to shift but can't. Oil
leaking at every possible place. Both
interior door hanldes broke. CV joints
on both sides went this year. The
factory radio was the worst thing I've
ever heard. Now, the engine is very
strong and burns no oil. The seats are
very comfortable. Everything works
inside. The style is the best. Still a
great looking car.
Strong engine. With a K&N air filter
and a free flowing exhaust, this car is
very fast. Honda cars are over built
and very solid. Comfortable interior.
Great styling and handling.
We bought this 1993 SE sedan in April
2001. It was a great car other than
axles and radiator nothing else really
went wrong. I sold the car to a Honda
junkyard in summer 2003. A man in an
old toyota truck pulled out right in
front of me. I was going about 40mph
the car held up great. It had
179,164.3 miles on it when it died.
Sunroof,leather,Bose stereo,fun to
I wish it had a 5-speed instead of auto
But SE models since 1991 have only
been available with automatics.
The '93 EX Coupe (6 cyl manual 5 spd)
was the closest thing to a new car I've
ever owned. It was also by far the
hottest, coolest car I've ever owned. I
bought it in '95 w/ about 28K miles,
it, and at 146K, it's still so
amazingly reliable and fuel-effecient
that I can't bear parting with it just
because I want something modern and
stylish with less wear-and-tear.
Alloy wheels and the spoiler! Agressive
stance! reliability, reliability,
Longer-wearing clutch. (I'm on my 4th.)
Front discs put out a lot of dust onto
the alloy wheels, but their wear isn't
