2002 GMC Yukon XL Denali AWD 4dr SUV (6.0L 8cyl 4A)

Review

As a previous owner of a 99 Durango
with all the toys. I found My 02 Denali
XL to be more enjoyable to drive. The
fuel milage was the same with the 6
liter Yukon as it was with my much
smaller 5.2 liter Durango. The ride is
super and I love my Yukon from the
roomy trunk to the leather interior
with the Bose audio system, all the way
up to the 6 liter engine that pulls my
ski boat with not even a wimper.

Best Features

Gotta be that 6 liter and auto ride, I thought I was buying a new Durango with a HEMI until I wanderd onto a GMC lot and test drove a Yukon!!!

Worst Features

The steering wheel audio controles are not as easy to use as the Durango. Buy hey, thats about it!!

2002 GMC Yukon XL 1500 SLE 4WD 4dr SUV (5.3L 8cyl 4A)

Review

Ride is great, Dealer has been
wonderful to work with and very
customer friendly. Passenger seat is
not the best on a long ride and can
cause some back pain if you are suscepti
ble to same.

Best Features

Great turning radius and handles towing my boat great. I had a blowout on the boat trailer at 80 mph (single axle) and had no trouble controling both vehicles to a comfortable stop.

Worst Features

Only interior change would be a non- slide surface on the console...every time I stop all my junk hits the cupholders or the floor.

2002 GMC Yukon XL 1500 SLE 4WD 4dr SUV (5.3L 8cyl 4A)

Review

This SUV has been great and the braking
system is much improved over our 99
Suburban.
The one major flaw we have found is
that the front seats DO NOT fully
recline. This SUV is used on long
trips and we find this to be highly
annoying. We dislike this flaw so much
that we will not buy another Yukon XL
if this has not been changed when we
buy another SUV in a couple of years.

Best Features

Exterior looks and roominess.

Worst Features

Front seats need to fully recline. Interior needs to be less plastic. $42,000+ is a lot of money to pay to get a plastic interior.

2002 GMC Yukon XL 1500 SLE 2WD 4dr SUV (5.3L 8cyl 4A)

Review

This vehicle is amazing. The room, the
comfort, the smooth riding, the overall
SUV is LUXURIOUS! The children have
enough room they don't have to touch!

Best Features

The storage space in the trunk!

Worst Features

More room to get into the back seats.

Review

No problems in 24k. Tows 5500lb

for a large vehicle. Outstanding

comfortable. Tremendous difference in
ride/handling from 96 & 99 Suburbans.
Fuel economy 16-17hwy/12city.

Autoride, OnStar, 6.0L power, AWD & BOSE sound.
