2003 GMC Sonoma 3dr Extended Cab SLS Rwd SB (2.2L 4cyl 5M)

Recently replaced my 96 Sonoma (130K
miles) with a new one. It's the last
chance, as next year Sonomas will only
come in 4dr/tiny box hybrid models.
The larger, higher, worse mileage
Canyon will replace the pickup
models. The 2003 model is very
similar to the last 7 or 8 years
worth, still a durable, cheap,
relatively small truck. Main
differences: Better seats, slightly
peppier due to higher axle ratio,
elimination of some fun electrical
features like lighted vanity mirrors,
underhood light, glovebox light.

Best Features

With a tonneau, can get 30+MPG. Relatively low ride height is easy to get into. Rear-hinge 3rd door much easier for large objects than 4dr styles. Can easily put a huge suitcase in back.

Worst Features

Stake pockets! Would love a smaller model similar to pre-1994 S15.
