Buy Ford
Bought a new Sierra 1500 Denali… Bought a new Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate just over a year ago. 3200 miles into it engine went. In the shop for a month. It went back into the shop approximately 6 months later fo two recalls and needs to go back and in for some odd behavior with the transmission. Funny sound and showed it was in ‘off-road’ mode no matter what I did. That has now gone away but who knows? A little of my history before I continue, my father retired from GM Manufacturing, my stepfather, mother and most of my family worked for GM for many years in and around Saginaw, MI. So we have always been GM people. Bottom line, never again. Not only did GMC not buy back this lemon, they really refused to do anything other than do the repairs. Looks great, great bells and whistles, nice to interior. Piece of crap that the company will not acknowledge. I will be a Ford buyer from here on out, even though I can buy GM through the family plan. Thoroughly disappointed in what has become of this once great company. All I can say is if you still choose to buy one of these vehicles, know your on your own. Gene PS: ignore trim details below. Did not have mine but will not let me change. Biggest waste of money
I bought a brand new 2025 GMC Serria Elevation Premium. I've had it exactly 1 month today. It didn't even have 65 kilometers on it when the engine light came on. It has spent a total of 2 weeks at the dealership and they still can't find out what is wrong with it. How can you build such a piece of garbage and not know how to fix it. The dealership told me it's not their problem however, it is actually their problem because they are the ones selling these pieces of garbage. I will never buy another chevy or gmc again. If I would give a minus 5 star review if it would let me.

No tranny No Service
The truck looks great, It drove great for 20,000 kms. Valve body went and has been sitting for 2 months waiting for parts that GM doesn't care if you get it or not. This is a very common issue that GM knows about but continues to use sub-standard parts and doesn't feel the need to correct the issue. They tell you parts are back ordered but they continue to build trucks every day with the parts needed to repair the vast number of trucks that are affected by this issue. t The Dealership has been great and I think they are embarrassed by the total lack of support by GM Canada. So if you want to waste a $100,000.00 by a GM.

Lemon law'd her... she gone!
Don't buy the diesel, nothing but problems. Had for four months and was in service department six time. Inaccurate low DEF warnings and check engine lights. Multiple electronics needed constant "software updates". Dealer would not address the bad DEF sensor and tank replacement needed. Everything from phantom pedestrians showing on back-up sensors and then slamming on brakes to going into limp mode. Could not safely take on any sort of road trip. Chugged down DEF fluid like cheap champagne on prom night. Service advisor said, "Oh, it will get better at 15-20k miles".. this only a 2-year lease! Service advisor went as far as advising, "I suggest you get another vehicle.". GM put up no contest and got full buy-back + attorney fees. Run from the baby Duramax! Never had any problems with the big HD Duramax's in the past. The lil' diesel engine sucks. I think GM is in real trouble. No longer a future customer of GM. The dealership's lot was loaded with buy-backs cars and trucks btw... not good.

2024 GMC AT4 Lemon Truck
After being a FORD guy for over 35 years, I decided to give GMC a try :/ I drive out with the brand new AT4 on thursday evening, after just 40 miles I wake up in the morning to find a big puddle of trans oil on my driveway. I call the salesman and drive it to the dealership, on the way there almost complete shutdown, engine over heat is on, A/C out!! Engine noise!!, get to the dealership wanting to talk to the manger, to no avail! Salesman and service tech tell me theres nothing to do but put it in to service. Absolutely displeased and irritated with GM dealership,..DO NOT BUY GMC! does Lemon Law apply here?
