Don’t do it! GM is on the decline
Very lackluster after owning for a year. Traded my wife’s 2019 Explorer on a 22 Acadia Denali. We miss the Explorer almost daily. Towing is terrible even for a small golf cart and trailer. Simple features like remote start, door lock, etc from the phone require a 150 a year onstar package that is free for many other makes. It’s just GM’s way of staying in your pocket. Little squeaks all over the interior when driving. Just nothing special about this thing at all. It’s about the smallest third row suv and that’s why she liked it, but it’s not worth it. Underpowered and lackluster.

I am totally in love with it best purchase we did
Electronics suck!
The vehicle itself is comfortable, roomy, and responsive when driving. However, the electronics are abysmal. The navigation system, "forever lost", as I call it, was even worse than the nav system in my old 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It is the worst. The system that detects if you are veering out of your lane is downright hazardous and should not be allowed in a vehicle. Then you have the feature that turns the engine off at stoplights. Step on the gas and a second later the car again starts to go. I want the car to go when I step on the accelerator, not when it wants to go. You can disable this feature but have to do so every time you start it. What a pain. Don't get me started with the electronic parking brake. Just like all the technology when it works it works, it works, when it doesn't you'll be calling the dealer to have it towed in for service. Really? Bring back the manual parking brake, it is better and cheaper and works. Then there's the heads up display. Whe it gets cold out the display drops out of sight and won't readjust until the vehicle warms up. I can go on and on but the electronics in this vehicle are terrible and the worst is the nav system. Carry a set of old school paper maps with you if you consider buying this vehicle.
Hockey family and we love our Acadia
We recently purchased 2023 GMC Acadia SLE V6. We consider a smaller SUV and liked the CRV and Tiguan. We have 2 teenagers who play hockey and one is a goalie. His hockey bag is quite large. We needed something bigger than the CRV for us all to travel together as a family. Pilot and Pathfinder were very nice, but out of our budget. The Acadia is the right size and price for my family. It gives us the cargo capacity we need and the flexibility's of a 3rd when we occasionally need it. The drive is smooth and very comfortable. I love GMC interiors. They are clean and functional. So far very happy with our choice. The fuel economy is just okay, not great. I picked the V6 because I plan to keep the vehicle 5 years plus and wanted the reliability of a naturally aspirated engine.

Stay away from 2022 gmc Acadia
Nothing but problems with 2022 GMC Acadia. I would go other route if looking for new suv. I’m sure they just will blame Covid when a recall is issued

A big piece of junk!!!!!
I bought a 2023 brand new in March. From then on, I’ve had it in the shop for multiple different problems 7 times. Mostly the radio issues and most recently because the car literally wouldn’t shut off. The radio never wants to work and constantly freezes or just won’t shut off at all when car is shut off. Most recently the car itself would not shut off for over 2 hours with attempts the entire time. Dealership claims that it was most likely a “glitch.” I consider that a safety issue not a “glitch!!!” The engine light also goes on constantly and when I took it in there were multiple codes and their fault excuse was that it was cold and got wet! I live in Illinois it’s cold and wet for half of the year! On top of it having multiple issues, it’s cramped, it’s plain and boring. The few positives. It does have a lot of extra standard safety features and the 2.0 turbo has nice get up and go and it gets decent gas mileage in comparison to my previous traverse. My recommendation would be to go to something foreign like Toyota or Honda.
