solid little car
I hate to sell this car, but it's getting elderly, and my kids are growing too big for the back seat. It's been fun, reliable transportation, and not bad looking, either. One of my favorite cars ever.
VERY, VERY RELIABLE LITTLE CAR
It's so great to see so many reviews that share my opinion on this wonderful vehicle! I wanted to buy a car that would NEVER fail me, and almost a decade later, the Prizm has consistently shown it's up to the task! Regular oil changes and routine maintenance keep my Prizm humming like it just rolled off the lot. I might even get it repainted.
Bad Car Day
From the day I recieved this Car I have had to install a new alternator, starter 2 transmissions, and now the engine leaks and it cant run because of a valve problem . Think twice before getting this year, of a car, 93 Geo's bad any other year ok.
Inexpensive Transportation
This car has been extremely reliable and enjoyable to drive since I bought it. I've driven almost 15k miles in the past year and a half and it's required little maintenance considering the car's age. For a 1993, it has not shown it's age in terms of styling and reliability. The exhaust system and rocker panels, however, have succumbed to rust and require more money to repair (along with a failing speedometer and shock absorbers) than I care to have to spend and am replacing it. I've named him Zippy because it truly is a zippy little car with great features for such a low price tag, especially for a 1993!
I can't believe my dad bought this car
My parents have spent approx. $800 on repairs for this car. Acceleration, horsepower is poor. Something is draining the battery on the car. This car has stalled in my school parking and a major road during rush hour. DO NOT BUY A GEO PRISM, BUY THE COROLLA, IT IS CHEAPER IN THE END.
