2003 Ford Ranger 2dr Regular Cab XL Rwd Styleside SB (2.3L 4cyl 5M)

This is my 3rd Ranger. I just can't
find another vehicle in the under
$15,000 price range, car or truck, that
I like more. This vehicle does
everything right: payments are
affordable; interior is roomy and
comfortable; fuel economy is good; load
capacity is more than you'd think; it's
easy and fun to drive; it looks good
inside and out; and--best of all--it's
TOTALLY RELIBLE. This truck seems ideal
for a single person who only wants to
operate one vehicle. This truck does it
all! It's no wonder my friends and
family always want to borrow my truck.

Best Features

Besides the versatility, affordability, and reliability, I like the bright silver paint on my new Ranger. It's a nice change from "washing machine white." Also, the gimmick-free exterior design and sensible interior ergonomics are significant attractions.

Worst Features

I'd like more "gusto" in the exhaust note. Also, when running on regular octane gas, the engine still "pings." Finally, why not offer the 4.0 engine on a 4x2 XL as an option?
