2004 Ford Mustang Convertible GT Deluxe 2dr Convertible (4.6L 8cyl 5M)

Review

As a single, affluient American male of
the 'Babyboomer'generation, I choose
to reward myself with an occasional
gift. The gift that I gave myself was
the Ford Mustang, with all of the bells
and whistles available. Monday through
friday, I will break out the 'S' Jag,
the last word in motoring but on
weekends, when fun is the goal, it is
the Mustang that I choose. The car is a
joy to drive.

Best Features

Favorite Feature of the Mustang ?. Handling and performance...

Worst Features

Take a second look at the Jaguar S series, incorperate the interior designs into the Mustang and you will have the consumate American Roasdster

2004 Ford Mustang Convertible GT Premium 2dr Convertible (4.6L 8cyl 5M)

Review

I've always been a Mustang lover so
this car was a MUST HAVE. The interior
comfort was striking to me when I test
drove it. The interior embraces rather
than hugs. The car feels great!

Best Features

The Mach 460 Stereo and the hard-cover for the top when it's down

Worst Features

More space for CD's in the center console and more space for my left foot to the left of the clutch when I'm cruising.

Review

The tires shine the dealership used
stained my white car so parts of it had
to be repainted. The clock/cd unit had
to be replaced because the clock lost
min. 10 minutes per wk. But my "Tang"
is a beauty and lots of fun to drive.
Get 21 mpg on local drives and 26mpg on
trips. It is my Bopping Baby. Love it.

Best Features

It is white with white interior and top. Looks and drives like a dream.

Worst Features

Light sensitive headlights and delay off interior light.

Review

At age 62 I told my wife I wanted one
last convertable fling and the Mustang
was my choice. The handling is taut and
predictable. Its not a hot rod with the
3.8 L but I think it will beat our 2000
Linclon LS with a V-6 and a manual
transmission off the line. It sticks to
the road well and has little to no body
roll. So far we have gotten as little as
26 mpg and as much as 30 mpg.

Best Features

Well the top goes down very easly and quickly. The power driver seat is nice. For us a major reason is that we can flat tow it behind our Motor Home with out any modifications to the drive train.

Worst Features

My wife would be much happier if the passenger seat had the same power controls as the drive seat. Would like to see radio controls mounted on the steering wheel and a dash light to tell you the cruise control is on.

2004 Ford Mustang Convertible GT Deluxe 2dr Convertible (4.6L 8cyl 5M)

Review

I have owned mine for 6 months and am
generally happy with it. This car is a
worthy bearer of the Mach 1 moniker and
accurately recaptures the raw
performance of the late 60s musclecar
era. The DOHC engine is a little peaky
in its power curve compared with the
traditional pushrod V8s so it really
lauches when you hit 3000rpm and makes
some sweet music. The gearing is a bit
low for everyday driving. A two-speed
rear end or 6 spd would be nice to have

Best Features

Shaker scoop makes the car. Mach 460 stereo sounds great.

Worst Features

Wider wheels and tires like those on the Cobra. More low end power/torque. Better interior material quality
