A great little car with a lot of pep. I
owen a 2004 Mustang and I enjoy driving
the focus just as much. Great stereo
system. The focus has a smooth ride.
With few exterior upgrades like I have
done it really an eye-catching vehicle.
The stereo... Also great on gas.
A quiter cabin from outside air when
you're driving highway speeds.
Just bought my new ztw wagon today for
13900 including all rebates from ford
and dealer. tt control 6 disc changer
you name it. Nows the time to buy that
leftover. Cant beat the price msrp
19200. 13900 WOW Just cant beat the
price for anything close to the wagon!
The SVT Focus is a true performance car
(see stats in Consumer Reports, which
say, among other things, that the SVT
is about equal to a Porche 911 with
respect to its handling). Ford makes
available lots of great extras that
others don't, at least for the price
(HID headlamps, audiophile sound,
heated seats, etc.). I still think,
like the other reviews, that more low
end power is ironically missing. Still,
the car is very, very well balanced and
responsive. The 6-speed transmission is
see above: handling, balance, options,
More power, like the RS model in
Europe. All leather seats (not a combo
of leather and cloth).
Excellent value for the money. Solid
construction, well equipped as
standard and very comfortable for a
small car. I purchased several options
because I spend a lot of time in my
car (heated seats/mirrors, spoiler,
leather, 6-disc in-dash CD, low-
profile tires, power moon roof). It
was worth it. I also like the european
styling. The ZTS/ZTW has plenty of
power with the 2.0 litre. Next model
year available with 2.3 litre, even
Heated seats (absolutely love it!), an
option not often available in compact
cars. Kudos Ford. Power moon roof.
Split fold-down rear seats, great
versatility and lots of trunk space,
even with them upright.
Wish they still had the old-style tilt
steering wheel, don't like the tilt
columns of todays cars.
