Wow, my supercharged zx3 barely nosed

had to have one. This car handles as if

My 2002 Focus SE-Sport sedan is a
practical, spacious and enjoyable car.
However, Ford did not "push the
envelope" when delivering this car in
2000. The fit and finish are probably
the biggest problem: materials are of
ok quality but various parts are not
well adjusted. The Ztec engine provides
sufficient power for this class but
it's too noisy and has low fuel
efficiency considering it's only a 2.0
litre. Still, I enjoy my Focus very
much and am looking forward to the next

It's a good looking car!
If Ford can make this car quieter, more
fuel-efficient and increase the
fit/finish quality, then they will have
a sure winner.
I have the 2.0L Zetec/5spd manual, and
I must echo everyone else, it doesn't
impress you with power. Although I do
get 30mpg on the highway regularly
going 75mph. It's very spacious
inside, well thought out ergonomics,
superior driving dynamics, above
average stereo, quiet on the highway,
and plenty of power items. I don't
have much to complain about.
Tilt-telescoping steering wheel and
height adjustable driver's seat is
surprise & delight. It's very well
equipped at a low price.
