2005 Ford Five Hundred SE Fwd 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl 6A)


I just finished putting on the third set of Ford factory rear brake pads and rotors. My car has 81000 miles on it. Something wrong with this picture. It's not the calipers replaced them the second time.

Best Features

Lot's of inside room and lot's of trunk space.

Worst Features

Do something about the brakes. They DO NOT last............

I went through 3 sets in 60k. All of them rear to one set of front brakes. We did mostly highway miles. I used the updated pads directly from motorcraft and they only lasted 20k. dont feel bad.. I had both rear calipers replaced at my expense and it still did not fix the issue
