Ford has the best interior layout - the
controls are easy to see and reach
without searching. The only interior
negative is that Ford always places the
electronic 4WD switch in a way that you
cannot see what position it is in on
automatic transmission vehicles when the
shift lever is in Drive or Overdrive.

Ford trucks are harder riding but longer
lasting. If you want a cadillac with a
cargo box, buy chevy. If you want a
truck that says "Is that all you got to
haul?" buy a Ford F-250.

Best Features

Suspesion. The Ford truck suspesion and Twin I-Beam front end is what makes these babies rugged and tough. I got my first F-250, a 1969 model, 23 years ago and I routinely loaded it up to 2,000 pounds bed payload which it handled despite being rated at only 1,500 pounds.

Worst Features

Move the electronic 4WD switch so it is visible with the truck in gear. The center flip down console lid is so far back that it is not usable by driver safely.
