Review

Not a bad ride for a truck but the
suspension is simply too stiff, I get
shaken around quite a bit when driving
on a not even so bad road. I test drove
the Nissan King cab and I believe the
ride is soo much better as well as the
performance but the reason why I didn't
want it is the constant engine and
exhaust noise. The Ford is nice and
quiet. Dissapointing is the fuel
consumption, I don't get more then 350
miles out of my 26 gallon tank before
the "low fuel" lights up. Overall, a
good pacjage for the $$. I received a
$7000 off MSRP!!

Best Features

Quiet ride, nice dash, comfortable thick seats

Worst Features

More power for the 4.6L, standard PW and PL, inside covers in the rear fenders

Review

So far, so great! I enjoy this
vehicle as a great addition to our
family - the road trip &
beach/mountains/biking/skiing machine.
The road comfort & quiet ride is
exceptional for a truck and rivals my
wife's '03 ML350. The room inside and
comfort make it great for our needs.
Ford definitely knows how to build
trucks. I would like to see a bit
better acceleration off of the line,
but I have to keep reminding myself
that it's the truck, not my 740i!

Best Features

Ride Height Captain's Chairs w/ center console Power sliding rear window Stereo Offroad and Onroad handling Quietness of interior on the highway

Worst Features

Better pickup Add Sidecurtain Airbags Add Nav System as option

Review

This is an awesome truck. This truck
can pull my 4 horse trailer with 4
large horses in it with ease. The look
is great and the inside is roomy and
includes everything. I also love the 6
CD changer. And the seat warmers,
they're great!
This is the truck for everyone and
everything. It's great if you're just
trying to look great and ride in style
and it's great for pulling anything
you need. It always gets the job done.
This is the perfect truck!

Best Features

Everything's my favorite. This truck is wonderful and just too great for words.

Worst Features

There is nothing to improve. This truck couldnt get any better than it already is.

Review

Only had for a couple weeks but it has
surpassed all my expectations so far.
By far the nicest truck I have ever
been in.

Best Features

Audiophile system, sunroof, power rear slider.

Worst Features

Something to improve gas mileage, maybe a 5-speed auto.

2004 Ford F-150 4dr SuperCab XL Rwd Styleside 6.5 ft. SB (4.6L 8cyl 4A)

Review

Needed a basic truck, paid $19,500 for
a F-150 XL SuperCab from Claremont
Ford. Very sharp styling and interior
design. Ride is smooth unloaded and
even with an 800 lb. load in the bed.
Base V8 has adequate power. Tested
against Chevy & Nissan, but not Dodge.
Chevy's design is dated and the V6 is
weak, & rear seat room is poor.
Nissan Titan: Great engine/trans,
extremely bouncy ride, rear seat angle
is too acute and not comfortable,
doors "cave" in when shutting, flimsy
door handles, no room to negotiate on
price ($24K base).

Best Features

Low base price. Sharp int/ext design. No squeaks or rattles. Doors close solid with a proper "thud". Rear seat is most comfortable in class. Chrome bumpers on base trim.

Worst Features

Make rear door open 180 degrees, tie- downs on floor of bed, more power from the 4.6 V8.
