2001 Ford F-150 4dr SuperCab XLT 2WD Flareside SB (4.2L 6cyl 5M)

I pretty much like everything except
the gas mileage.

Whoever "designed" the turn signal
stalk should be fired - unless the
steering wheel is centered +/- a few
degrees, the turn signal detent won't

Ford lied about cooling package but
when faced with lawsuit came up with a
deal (I took the $100 cash).

Best Features

Power captain's chairs are nice seats, but then they should be for the $900 I had to give for them. I like the low end torque on the 5.4L Reliability is good so far. This is a comfortable truck.

Worst Features

Gas mileage sucks big time. Terrible throttle lag when "punching" the throttle when in motion - launch from standing start is OK. Clear coat finish easily dissolved by bird poop. Wheels hard to clean due to brake pad dust. Back seat too small for an adult. Stereo not very good.
