2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT 4WD 4dr Crew Cab (4.0L 6cyl 5A)
Fun vehicle to dry. Very cool package,
both inside & out. It is enough of a
truck to do all the things I need out
of a truck (just finished a basement
and hauled everything needed).
Provides the flexibility of decent gas
mileage (dry it daily) and provides
plenty of room for 4. Enjoy the
vehicle very much - only problems -
both rear door mechanisms have had to
be reworked. I purchased an after
market soft top - should have gone with
the factory hard top.
Excellent designs both inside & out.
Inside door handles - fix the problems
with the back handles - change out
the "painted" handle bars in the front
that won't scratch

I love the little bugger. Its fun to
drive and looks great.
The rear seat carries two adults in
comfort. For what I need, the bed is
just large enough. Seats are very

turn is tough to complete in one swing.
I am now on my second drivers side

figure out the cause so blames it on my

Purchased originally as a second car
for practical reasons, the Sport Trac
won me over immediately and despite the
poor mileage, I commute with this
vehicle more often than not.
The pickup bed is great for all but the
largest loads and the soft cover makes

The vehicle manages to transport a
group of four very comfortablly,
even with a full load. While the
relatively narrow wheel base
make quick lane changes and sharp turns
illadvised, the smooth quiet ride and
the advantages of the on-the-fly 4x4
more than make up for this.
All in all, a great mix of comfort and
pick up bed, fold down back seat,
muliple elecrical ports, cargo rack on
top,soft tonneau cover
