Bought the 2.0L Titanium with AWD in November. Really like the car -- the technology system was pretty easy to master. Really like the handsfree phone. But am sorely disappointed with the mileage -- 14 MPG with mixed city and highway driving. Dealer said wait till we hit 5000 miles but at 4500 miles have seen no improvement. Will not keep the car long at this rate. Am already looking to get rid of it.

I must say I agree with all the "Fun & Marvel of Ingenuity" platform, that has been touted as the takeover vehicle of the the Crossover SUV Market that Ford has presumably taken (some have said). But the beauty is all on the surface, as sorry as must say, the basis of small engines is Fuel Economy over performance, and they have got things a bit backwards. Love the performance, but missing my promised MPG by a longshot.

2014 Ford Escape has been one problem after another. I brought it brand new. For the third time now there is a problem with the coolant system where it over heats won’t go into gears and the engine light is on. This isnt the only issue I have had with this car. I have always had ford cars. But no more. NEVER AGAIN.

Just bought this vehicle and so far I Love it, downsized from a 2012 F150 Supercrew with the Eco-Boost engine and was wondering about feeling cramped inside but it doesn't at all. I got the 1.6 Eco-Boost and so far with only 150 miles on it is getting around 23 miles per gallon mostly around town driving. Plenty of power and love all the options. Panorama roof is great in this summer weather all most like having a convertible. Will let you know more after I have put some more miles on it. Also very sharp car gets looks everywhere we go..

2014 Ford Escape 2.0 L turbo

I have been disappointed with my Escape since I bought it. I currently have 3000 miles on it and have had it for 5 months. I did extensive research and test drives before picking this car over the Rav 4, CRV and Rogue. One of the main reasons I wanted this car was for the 2.0 L Turbo engine. I have had numerous quality issues. The sync system is over complicated and doesn't work properly with my phone. There is wind noise in the door, the locks freeze on the driver side and I can't get in except through the passenger door. The remote stater works only intermittently. The gas mileage is horrible-17 to 19 mpg. It is winter and the engine is barely broken in so it should get better.
