Used 2004 Ford Escape Consumer Reviews
Great Car
This car is fun to drive. It's a great size, not too big or small. Handles very good. I'm very happy with my decision about buying it.
Very functional and quick big
I bought this vehicle 10/1/00 off the showroom floor, shortly after they first came out and was equipped with the V6, 4WD, trailer package, tinted windows, and "hunter" green in color. We have averaged around 25-26 MPG on several long trips. This vehicle very roomy inside. I haven't had any problems with the vehicle at all and would highly recommend it to anyone. The exception I have read about is it the extremely rare person that does serious off road driving. This vehicle is much better looking(especially from the rear) and much quicker than the CRV.

My little yellow school bus
Great Handling, Excelent milage, Fun to Drive, Economical
Blown engine
My engine threw a rod at 34,311 miles and punched 2 holes in the block. Ford replaced it under warranty. If you buy a Ford make sure you are aware of their Road Side Assistance program and you also may want to get an extended warranty. They don't give you a replacement car or a rental without an extended warranty. I was without my vehicle for 2 weeks.
Ford Escape
This is a great little SUV, it does a an outstanding job and is fun to drive. Easy to get around with and good in bad weather.
