Likes gobs of wheelspin on the launch. Best run was in "L" but not sure what (if anything) this accomplished. Shifts were a little abrupt, just shy of indicated redline.
Ford has obviously addressed the Edge's brakes, but smoldering pads and an additional 20 feet by the fifth stop mean there's still a problem with fade. No ABS after 5th stop.
Nearly impossible to circle the skid pad in Drive with all the up/down shifting and zero throttle response. Doing so in "L" helped. Mild understeer at limit. Typical SUV-like handling dynamics in the slalom, where it doesn't transition well, steering is a little slow and grip goes away at the front.
