problems with transmission, traction control

2007 Ford Edge SE 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 6A)

I bought mine 9 months ago with 40,000 miles. It has been to the dealer three times for transmission fluid leaks and twice for apparently random activation of traction control while drving about 60 mph and causing sudden deceleration -- not a good thing on an interstate! Two dealers could not recreate the traction control issue and told me to take it home. Looking to trade it in.

I bought my edge new. It now has 60,000 miles on it and just started to act up. When turning corners at low speed there is a grinding noise. Also when giving it gas from a stopped position the car will take off then hesitate then take off again. I had the car into the shop, but they couldn't find anything wrong. Then the traction control/advance trac light came on. The computer tells me the computer chip in the steering wheel is bad. It gets fixed tomorrow, we'll see if that takes care of the problem. Maybe you have the same issue.
