Vehicle2004 Ford Crown Victoria LX 4dr Sedan (4.6L 8cyl 4A)
ReviewThe current-generation Crown Victoria is perhaps a bit dated-looking, but it's still sharp and still looks way better than "cutting edge" designs like the Chrysler 300. Trunk room and ride comfort are everything you'd expect from a traditional big car (again, better in every way than the 300), and it couples that with reasonably good fuel economy and performance. The 4.6 pulls a lot harder than I thought it would, and even with a full load of people and cargo, it's never short of passing power (something the old 5.0L cannot claim!).
Best Features- Rear-end styling - Dark upholstery AND headliner (none of this dark grey seating/light grey headliner nonsense) - Durability: built like a tank! Don't be fooled: those flexy bumpers are actually backed up by I-beams! - Seat fabric: it's so super soft and fuzzy :D
Worst Features- The clearcoat on my aluminum rims is starting to peel already, so that could use some work - Low washer fluid indicator with non-digital dash would be nice - Needs more places to put stuff; that aspect of the design is really showing its age
