2023 Ford Bronco Sport Outer Banks 4dr SUV AWD (1.5L 3cyl Turbo 8A)

Pros: Paint is outstanding. Fit and finish are acceptable for the price point. Handling, brakes and ride are typical of a smaller SUV. I keep reading reviews concerning the seats, but I've found them to be comfortable. Controls are well-laid out and the infotainment screen is intuitive, Heavily optioned versions are reasonably priced. Gas mileage has exceeded expectations. Cons: The back seat rivals the Mustang in usability, i.e. practically useless. However, if backseat room is not a selling point, fold them down and the storage is quite spacious.

Just like the song, this thing sounds like gibberish and requires explaining, but it's catchy as hell and goes well with fishing. My wife and I traded in her ailing explorer for the Robin's egg limited heritage and we haven't looked back. Despite what this article says, we have a blast driving it on the road and around town. If you have a long commute, I would definitely recommend something else because you can definitely find something with better gas mileage, but if not the bronco sport is an absolute pleasure to take anywhere on or off the road. I have to recommend getting the badlands model. We tried both the 3 cylinder as well and the extra power and amenities really make a difference, but I'm also one of those weirdos that wants all the options. As for the backbseat, I'm 6'5" and 300 lbs and have sate comfortably in it

This little gem has pep. Excellent SUV for commuting. Handles well. Still in that awkward phase of getting to know it and finding the sweet spot for comfort, but each ride is feeling better than the last.

I got my 2023 Bronco Sport Big Bend in May 2023. I really like it and give it "pat" every time I pass it in my garage. The cactus grey color is unique and draws a lot of compliments from complete strangers. I purchased and installed the body side molding and have not seen another like it yet. I was a little concerned with the window sticker mileage of 25 city and 28 highway but, after driving it for over 5,000 miles, I have gotten no less than 33 MPG and a high of 37.8 and average 35 on 87 octane fuel. I have taken photos of the dash to prove it to those that are interested in it. I have read other reviews and nobody else I have read say they have gotten this kind of mileage. I have not driven it in cold winter conditions yet. I live in Northern Indiana and drive county roads, state roads, and 4 lane highways. Not much city driving, I drive it much like my wife's fusion hybrid. I can say that it likes 58 miles per hour a lot. When driving state highways and the cruse set at 58 is when the 37+ mpg happens. Last weekend we drove it on a trip to the south Detroit area for a wedding driving 629 miles on 4 lanes and 65 -70 miles per hour at 35.5 mpg. I have a picture of that one. It has a little stiffer ride than the Rogue I replaced for a trip like that but that just adds to the appeal for me. It weighs more and does not get blown around like the Rogue. It tows almost 3 times more and the 1.5 turbo feels more powerful. I have no answer as to why this one is getting that mileage and other reviews do not. I am afraid to take it for service for fear they may screw it up. All I know, so far, is that I could not be happier with a vehicle. After review, I may have put this review in the wrong place. My Bronco Big Bend is a 2023 purchased in May of 2023. I just turned 20,000 miles. I had my first issue. The truck suddenly lost power and went into a limp mode where I could only go 15-20 MPH and the check engine and the wrench light came on. I stopped the truck and went to my Ford Pass app. and it knew the codes already. I made contact thru the app. and they had a tow truck there in about 20 min. They took it to my Ford dealer and they had it fixed the next day. It was a failed high pressure fuel pump issue. They extended my warranty for two years for my trouble. All the people I dealt with were exceptional. It is back to running great and the fuel economy is still awesome. Update: I now have over 10,000 miles on the Bronco and it still averages 33-34 MPG. I still could not be happier with a vehicle. I have driven it on snow and ice covered roads and the G.O.A.T. mode for icy roads works great. I now have 15,000 miles on my Bronco. I had one recall to do with the battery that they did at the last service that caused them to do a re-flash. No problems afterwards and I still get the great fuel mileage. I pull a small trailer for my zero turn mower and it seems to drive like nothing is there although my fuel mileage it hurt by 3-4 MPG. So far, I still love this truck. If you are worried about the turbo charged 3 cylinder engine, don't be. It is more powerful than my Nissan Rogue 4 cylinder and gets better fuel mileage.

Surprisingly smooth highway ride considering what it it is. It handles very well and is very maneuverable. Really like the center screen and instrument cluster. Just purchased it and took it on a 500 mile road trip and got around 27 mpg. Not even broken in yet. Check out some Youtube videos if you need to be convinced about what it can do off road. Previously owned a 2021 Ford Explorer LTD hybrid
