The Diesel gets about 14 in town and 19
on the road. The auto trans whent out
at 36,000 I am not very confident in
the trans but for now it seems to be
fine at 56,000. The paint chips very
easy and scraches easy. other than that
if You want to gamble with Doges
Transmissions it,s a great truck.
5.9 I6 Diesel Has tons of power and
smooth when on the open road.
More reliable auto Transmissions and
Paint that dose not chip as easy
I Had the transmission go out at 36,000
the the truck has 55,000 on it now and
have not had any I mean any other
Problems with it. That is somthing I
can not say for my '97 GMC 350 3/4 ton
4x4 I had too many things to list that
whent wrong with it and this is coming
from a person that in the past would
only buy a GM. I love My 2002 3/4 ton
Dodge Ram 4x4 with the 5.9 Turbo Diesel.
I love the fuel economy 21 to 22
highway, 19 around home. Pulls 5th
wheel campers (11,000 lbs) with no
troubles. Starts good in cold
temperature down to 10 degrees easily
with out the block heater with synethic
oil. My wife loves it and she bought
Fuel economy and trailer pull
Make a little lower (3") to pull 5th
wheels and factory exhaust brake with
